Colin, Susan and Susan's Papillions, Jasmine and Princess
On August 28, 2010, a very special event was held in Santa Barbara, CA, at the Santa Barbara Kennel Club AKC All Breed Dog Show, called the Breeder's Showcase Competition. Breeders of AKC dogs presented two of their best dogs, by group, in the Best In Show Ring. Colin had the honor of presenting a female Papillion, Jasmine, in the Breeder's Showcase Toy Group along with her owner/breeder Susan Nikkel, and her beautiful girl, Princess. Below are pictures of Susan and Princess, and Colin and Jasmine, taken during the competition. Susan and Colin did a magnificent job in the ring and received a huge applause during their presentation!! The judge was Sue Vroom, wife of the late Corky Vroom who lost his battle with cancer in May of 2010, and was remembered and honored at this prestigious dogshow.
